2018 Kuhn North America Semi-Mounted Rotary Rakes GA 7501 +

Information

2018 Kuhn North America Semi-Mounted Rotary Rakes GA 7501 +

The Kuhn GA 7501+ twin-rotor, center-delivery rotary rake is the answer to increase raking capacity and maintaining high quality raking. The GA 7501+ includes all the main features of a larger, commercial style rake while being offered at a very attractive feature/price ratio. This center-delivery rotary rake features a large-capacity twin-rotor designed for the farmer who wants to invest in quality with quick harvesting. The GA 7501+ rotary rake offers enhanced performance for hay producers working in 22'5" to 24'5" raking widths.

The GA 7501+ features 10'8" rotors fitted with 11 tine arms for high raking capacity, fast-forward speeds, and exceptional productivity. This rotary rake produces ideal windrows for round or large square balers, and the windrow width can be easily adjusted from 3’7” to 6’3” to perfectly match the pickup head, resulting in better bale formation. The reinforced, rear-wheel chassis features tie-rod steering for better maneuverability and agility when raking in small and irregularly shaped fields.

Features may include:

Adjustable Working Widths
  • Quickly adjust the working width and windrow width by extending or retracting the hydraulic cylinder to achieve working widths of 22'5" to 24'5" and windrows widths of 3'7" to 6'3". In many crops, the density makes it necessary to adjust the windrow width or match it to the pickup size of a baler or forage harvester. When going into the transport position, retract the hydraulic working width cylinders to reduce the overall transport height to 13'1".
3D Suspension
  • The 3D suspension is enabled by a rotor arm and rotor that are linked by a double link rod. The 3D rotor articulation ensures high-quality raking because the rotors are able to follow undulating terrain smoothly and closely without damaging the crop stubble.
Hyper-tangential Tine Arms
  • The double curved hyper-tangential tine arms make windrows larger and fluffier by gently raising the crop off the ground and delivering it to the windrow curtain. This windrow formation allows for easier crop pickup by the baler or forage harvester with minimum loss and there is no risk of pulling crop out of a formed windrow. Lastly, high quality raking at higher speeds is available due to a reduced distance between tine passes.
Tine Angle
  • The tine angle provides clean raking and gentle handling of the crop, whether light or heavy, with minimal ground contact. The tines are made of heat-treated steel, optimizing service life and increasing resistance to wear. The “floating” attachment of the tines, featuring three large-diameter coils, further reduces wear.
Bogie Axle
  • A bogie axle for rotor guidance is ideal for raking difficult terrain (deeper pivot tracks, uneven ground after grazing) and where higher raking speeds are desired.
